Project Overview

I-285/I-20 West Interchange

The I-285/I-20 West Interchange is a historic project for C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc. and for our great state of Georgia. We are honored to have been selected as the Developer and Lead Contractor for the job.

This project will significantly reduce congestion in the interchange and improve the daily commute of Georgians for years to come. The design includes the addition of lanes, rebuilds all ramps connecting the two interstates, and adds a collector distributor system along I-20 Westbound to Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

We have assembled an all-star team of local contractors and designers to tackle the largest project in our company’s history. The C.W. Matthews team, named Legacy Infrastructure Contractors, is one of unmatched ability and we are looking forward to partnering with the Georgia Department of Transportation to build the infrastructure that “Gets Georgia Home.”
