Working in Grading & Utilities

As a member of C.W. Matthews Grading and Utilities Division, you’ll play an important role in our company’s central service by building roads and installing underground utilities that connect communities throughout Georgia. You'll work closely with fellow crew members to reshape the earth's surface using large-scale heavy equipment and install critical underground utilities systems like storm water, drainage, sewer, and water. The work is tough, dirty, and for those who make their career doing it, more satisfying than any other job you could imagine. The work you do will have a lasting impact on public infrastructure used by Georgia’s citizens every day, and with numerous crew positions there is endless opportunity for advancement.
